Controversy About Continuing Care at Home
Continuing Care at Home, which is sometimes called CCRC Without Walls, is a developing program offered by some CCRC operators and others to provide the care and some other benefits of CCRC living to people who continue to live outside the CCRC campus.
NaCCRA has a Model Law relating to this development. It also was raised from the floor by a resident at NaCCRA's April 2014 General Membership Meeting, and the resident's concern with a program at her community that she had only learned of by chance, let to an impromptu discussion of the pros and cons of this developing trend.
